CrowPanel ESP32S3 Display - 7.0 inch Advance_series SKU: DIS02170A V1.3
Is anyone kind enough to provide me with a very Simple "Hello World" Sketch of this 7 inch display.
I am ready to send the two units I bought back as I have spent endless hours trying to make it work. The ESP32-2432028R Yellow 2.8 is easy but so far my 100's of attempts are a disaster. I also have the 5" working but it seems to lack a UART output. The Internet and chat GPT have proven to not work trying various combinations.

I'm using 7inch panel V1.4. Is there anywhere a valid pinout or at least a datasheet. I can't get it working with the lgfxDrivers of V1.3

First: thanks for your quick reply. I've seen the related pdf-file, but in contrast to v1.3's pdf, I couldn't find out the relations between GPIO's and colors. Would you take the time and have a look? I got really serious problems in getting the display work ...

jennie, thanks very much for your help. I checked and updated my gfx_driver. but the display remains black. Upload is working, I can run programs on the esp32. Only the display remains black. I tried your troubleshooting pages, followed your installation instructions to the letter. I'm close to dispair ...

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
The same sample program can be used with versions 1.3 and 1.4. Version 1.4 mainly modifies settings such as button length.
Are you using our version 1.3 sample program, or your own program? We recommend that you try using our sample program first, and then modify it to achieve the desired functionality.

First and important of all: I really appreciate your efforts to help me along. I tried to get your example programs running. V1.3: black screen is all I got.
with my own programs and your lovyan gfx setup I don't even manage to get a fill_screen working. Black is all I get. No Backlight at all
