Why Thinknode M1 has no GPS signal?
Please try the following.
1 Have you turned on the GPS switch?
2 In addition, the device must be placed outdoors to have a GPS signal. Is the device placed outdoors?
3 Please update your device to the latest firmware (both stable and unstable) and try again. The firmware update link is below.

4 Maybe you have made a mistake in the settings in the app. I suggest you try this: click Restore Factory Settings in the app, and then turn on the GPS switch on the device
5 If the problem still exists, please open the case and check if the antenna is loose or not fastened properly. If so, adjust the antenna and fasten it properly and try again.

I have the same problem!
I just received my order of two M1 Thinknodes, and one of the devices is not able to get a GPS lock.
I tried all the fixes as per above and there is still no GPS lock>
The GPS switch is on, the node is outdoors, the antenna connection is good, I completed a factory reset and I tried three different firmware, the original> 2.6.5 > 2.7.4 alpha > 2.6.11.6 beta.
The second node is usually able to get a GPS lock in about 15 minutes with 5 - 7 satellites.
What else can I do???

One of the meshtastic chat groups I'm part of gave me the fix. . . .
▪Leave the node turned on until its battery is completely drained.
▪Once the battery is depleted, turn off the node using the power switch.
▪Fully charge the battery and turn on the node
▪Place the node outdoors where it has a good view of the open sky and wait for GPS lock.
¤ Ensure the GPS switch is also on.
I found that when the battery dropped to 10% and the voltage dropped to 3.30 volts the GPS was able get a lock. It may not be necessary to drain the battery completely. To drain the battery more quickly you can force the backlight to stay on for an extended period.
