External Power question.

In the docs it say external power.
Is the external power connector the BAT connector SH 1.0mm ?
Can I attach any kind of 5Volt power to this?
What happens if I same time connect a USBC to the board ? Will it then try to charge over the BAT connector ? It sounds like stuff going to break if I have a external powersource that is not a battery and same time connect USBC ?!
Please let me know how I can safe use external power supply and same time use USBC cable.

    Can be connected to 5V at the same time, connecting the battery can also charge the battery

    1. Can the source of power on the BAT connector be a DCDC converter? or must it be a battery (I dont want the screen to charge)
    2. If yes, how do I prevent it from charging ?
    3. And it was ok to have a 5Volt source on the BAT connector same time using the USBC cable for updating the software ?
    4. what type os JST cable do I need for the BAT port 2mm ?
