sudo password

I have not used my CrowPi L for 6 months and started it again today. Trying to install a new program "pi" requests a password. I type the password I have recorded 6 months ago in a backup file and it does not work.

How can I have enter a new working password when I have forgotten the password which is hidden somewhere in my pi's folders?

Thanks in advance, Pierre

  • Forget my question. I searched the net and found the answer : "Once the session opens, go to Preferences > Raspberry Pi Configuration.

In the first tab, you’ll see a button to change the password for the current user:"

Well this sudo password is very weak as anyone can change it.
