Has TikTok Changed How You Approach DIY Projects or Tech Builds?

Hey everyone,
I’ve been spending a lot of time on TikTok lately, and I’ve noticed a growing number of short videos showing quick DIY electronics projects, Arduino builds, and even display setups similar to what we discuss here.
It got me thinking — has TikTok actually influenced how you approach your own projects? Like, do you ever pick up ideas, shortcuts, or inspiration from those short-form videos, or do you still prefer traditional sources like forums, documentation, and YouTube tutorials?
I’m curious whether these quick clips are genuinely helpful or if they oversimplify things, especially for more complex builds like working with CrowView screens.
Would love to hear your experiences—has TikTok added value to your workflow, or do you find it more distracting than useful?
