2 HMI-ESP32-P4 displays: 10.1” and 7”, I am unable to get any PC to see them as a USB/UART,
Question:
I purchased 2 HMI-ESP32-P4 displays, 10.1” and 7”, I am unable to get any PC to see them as a USB/UART, there is no information on your site to get them into Boot mode, I have the Waveshare 4” HMI-ESP32-P4 and can get it talk to my systems, along with their Waveshare ESP32-P4-C6-DEV module, but none of your products.
Please advise, I am using both MacOS and Windows 11. Neither can see them, Even using forced boot mode, and yes I am using the correct USB port on both and stil not getting them to be seen in Terminal, CMD, Arduino, VS Code, or any other serial program.
Answer:
This problem was likely caused by connecting to the wrong interface. The port indicated by the arrow in the image below is the correct interface for downloading the program and connecting to the serial port; the USB 2.0 interface below is not.
