why default the F keys to their non-standard uses every time Crowview Note starts

I just acquired a CrowView Note and have been trying to use it, but it
has a really weird behavior of defaulting the F keys to their
non-standard uses every time ti starts... Is there a way for it to
default to being a normal keyboard when it boots up instead of this
unintuitive setup? I want the alt functions of the keys to only happen
when I actually hold the Fn key including immediately when it starts
without needing to do an extra step every time... This is very annoying.
