CrowPanel-CM4

I'm trying to get my crowpanel-cm4 to communicate with an industrial peripheral via RS-485, but I can't.
I created the cable according to the specifications given to me by the peripheral manufacturer. I'm wondering if I connected it to the correct pins on the crowpanel (I've attached a photo).
I've read in other threads that I need to open the /dev/ttyAMA2 port, but I can't read anything from it. I've also tried the other ports, AMA0, AMA1, and /dev/ttyS0, but nothing.
Is there a tool to check which port I need to open?
Do I need to activate something other than raspi-config (where I need to disable the serial console and enable RS-485, which I've already done)?
Thanks.

  • Sorry, can you at least tell me how to configure the crowpanel?
Besides raspi-config where I enabled the serial port, do I need to do anything else?
Do I need to enable dtoverlay=uart2(3,4,5?) in /boot/config.txt?
How do I figure out which ttyAMAX I should use?

  • Dear mceccarellitnx,
I have already replied to you via email. Please check.
    Best regards,
