Raspbian Bookworm and 7 inch hdmi monitor - small image

I am using an RPI 3B with Bookworm. What is the exact modification of config.txt? Everything to too small to read on the screen although it seems to be working correctly otherwise. Thanks

  • Hi Bob,

To address the small display issue on your Raspberry Pi 3B running Bookworm, edit /boot/config.txt to set the desired resolution. Uncomment or add hdmi_group=1 and hdmi_mode=16 for 1080p at 60Hz. Adjust framebuffer_width and framebuffer_height to match your screen's resolution. Reboot to apply changes.

  • Thanks, but I'm still having problems and everything is too small. The lines I have added don't seem to change the display. Here is my file:

    pi-star@pi:/boot/firmware $ cat config.txt
