Powering HMI display

I am using the CrowPanel 5.0"-HMI ESP32 Display 800x480 RGB TFT LCD Touch Screen. I am installing into a 1946 vehicle. The vehicle has a 6 volt system. Can I connect the batt connector to the 6 volts directly or do I have to convert it to 5 volts first? What is the mating connector to the batt connector on the board?

    1.The power chip on the board can only handle input voltages up to 5.5V. Since your vehicle uses 6V, you cannot plug it directly into the battery input without causing potential damage to the board. You will need to convert the 6V down to 5V before connecting it to the board.
    2.The mating connector for the battery connection is HY2.0-2P.
