Connecting Analog Sensors to CrowPanel 7.0 – Need Guidance

Hi everyone,
I recently purchased the CrowPanel 7.0 for a project where I need to read data from analog sensors (such as fuel and water level gauges) and display the values on the touchscreen.
Before proceeding, I have a few questions:
Does the CrowPanel 7.0 support direct analog sensor inputs?
If so, how should the wiring be done to connect sensors properly?
If direct analog input is not supported, what additional modules (such as an ADC) would be required?
Any recommendations on compatible ADC modules that work well with the CrowPanel 7.0?
How would these modules be interfaced with the panel?
I appreciate any guidance, wiring examples, or module suggestions that could help me move forward with this setup.
Thank you in advance!

  • Were you able to find out which pin(s) can be used as analog out?

  • According to the product pin diagram from the official website, the pin connected to UART1-OUT (19, 20) supports analog input

  • Hi, Rayant,
Thank you for your reaching out to us.

You can use an ADC module like ADS1115 to obtain analog values, as our pins of CrowPanel 7.0 do not support direct analog input.
