It's very likely that the fan blades hit something. Check if they're loose and tighten them; that should fix it.

New here. Hello! I am planning to port an embedded application to the M3. Question: does the M3 have an "external" (SPI) flash memory chip, or just the 1MB flash that is built into the nRF52840? Does any of that space appear as a "mass storage device" (a rather small mass) when plugged into a PC via USB? If not as it is, can that be arranged? Do the LoraWAN and Meshtastic models differ on this? If this is not possible, maybe I can use the "EEPROM" flash area - how large is it? Thanks.

I'm trying to use flasher.meshtastic.org in Google Chrome on my Mac to update the Meshtastic firmware on my ThinkNode M5. Chrome does not see the device plugged into a usb port. I'm sure my usb cable is a data cable, and I believe my settings are correct on the Mac and in Chrome. I've seen people say that I might need to hold down a button when plugging the device into the usb port. Is this true? If so, which button?

I'm trying to use a QI standard wireless charging system with a CrowPanel 1.28" running an ESP32-C3. I've got a small LiPo battery connected to it. I'm planning on using this as a pocket watch (for my son), and want to be able to recharge the battery wirelessly.
I have the output of the QI receiver module (5v 0.6a output) connected to a USB-C plug connected to the USB socket of the CrowPanel board. It will run the CrowPanel very nicely without the battery connected, but once I hook up the battery it causes the transmitter (I have a generic one from Amazon) to just flash slowly.
I'm going to test it when the battery is low enough to not run the board, and see what I can do there, but I'm really hoping someone out there has a suggestion to get this working properly!

The M3 tracker requires a gateway to operate. The M3 can connect to a self-deployed gateway or a LoRaWAN network provided by an operator (in which case, you don't need to deploy your own gateway).

Within the gateway's coverage area, the tracker can upload location data online in real time. When the node leaves the coverage area, it automatically stores the location information locally. Once it re-enters the gateway's coverage area, the stored data is automatically uploaded to the application, thus completing the recording of offline movement trajectories and generating continuous path playback. The tracker can also be configured through the backend panel to implement different tracking modes, transmission/reception frequencies, audible and visual alarms, tracking history, and others.

Here is the user manual. You can have a look if needed.

Product SKU:
ILM13205D
Thinknode M5
Question:

I'm having a problem with the device. It isn't exchanging keys with other nodes. Messages keep appearing: “No channel,” “Message encryption failed.” Leaving the device on all night with GPS enabled also did not result in a successful public key exchange with other nodes. I only have contact on the medium_fast public node. People tried to message me, but nothing went through.

Answer:
Please perform a factory reset on the device via the Meshtastic app, or re-flash the Meshtastic firmware onto the device. Afterward, please follow the tutorial at the link below to create a custom channel; have both parties join this channel to see if messages can be successfully sent and received.
