Found this article on the web with a preliminary review. Looking forward to hear all about it with an official annoucement.

In the meantime, I have a few questions after reading that article,

Is the cooling fan temperature controlled?

Is it a standard full size HDMI port on the side?

What is that blocked off USB-A 2.0 being used for?

How does the camera being connected?

Does the PCI-e connector on the Pi5 being used?

How is the on-board 4.3" LCD Touch Display connected? Via HDMI or DSI?

Will the 18650 Lithium-ion batteries charged when the CrowPi 3 is powered with a power supply?

If the batteries can be charged, is there a Charge indicator?

Is there any Battery Power Status indicator?

Which Raspberry Pi models are compatible?

Hope to hear answers on the above questions from Elecrow!!

I have my own local AI that I have been using for programming, and I would like to know if I can add this local AI to the Crow Pi 3? If not, can I add my own API? Why does the API key addition box in ThinkNode only accept 20 characters? Most APIs are about 32 characters long, and some are as long as 80 characters.

Hello Elecrow Community,
I just received my CrowPi3 (Kickstarter version), and while it looks like a great product, I’m running into issues with the modules:
Issues:
* Non-functional modules:
* Buzzer: No sound output (even with basic example scripts).
* LED: Python error: 121 Remote I/O error when running test code.

Abnormal I2C scan:
Only one device detected (0x13)—shouldn’t there be multiple?
Commands tested: sudo i2cdetect -y 1 and sudo i2cdetect -y 0 (no change).

No startup animations:

Unlike demo videos, no modules light up (LED matrix, LCD, etc.) after Pi reboot.

Troubleshooting steps:
✅ Enabled I2C via raspi-config.
✅ Tested official examples (no success).
✅ Verified all physical connections (everything seems plugged in correctly).

Questions:
Did I miss an initialization step?
Could this be a hardware defect or a software/config issue?
Is there a factory reset procedure for the modules?

My setup:

CrowPi3 (Kickstarter edition)
Raspberry Pi (built-in, OS updated)
Python 3.11.2 (no update after reception CrowPI)

Thanks
