RC101S 10.1
Hi, I purchased this on September 2022, and it has been working OK. I needed to unplug it and move it, but when plugging back in it is lighting up but not showing the normal boot screen with the elecrow logo - not even the "No Signal" message when nothing is connected.
What can I do to diagnose this issue?
Cheers

I did this as I only unplugged it to move it, and then re-connected it (so it was all as before).
I've also tried a separate power connector (not using the connected RPI4) and it lights up so you can see it has power, however it never gets to the Elecrow logo.

However there is no content being displayed (although the mouse will move across to the RC101S display as though it is on).
As there is no onscreen display I cannot use the rocker on the RC101S to change the brightness.
Is this a fault and now needs to be progressed via customer services?
Cheers

Hi, I really like the monitor for my RaspberryPI4, but unfortunately there is a small problem:
I am using it with Ubuntu64 and it only works with deprecated "fake" kms driver: vc4-fkms-v3d
When the system switches to kms driver (vc4-kms-v3d) the picture does not appear anymore.
dmesg output "vc4-drm gpu: [drm] Cannot find any crtc or sizes" indicates that it failed to parse monitor EDID.
I would set up the custom hdmi mode, but for that I need to know display's parameters:
Some of the parameters I know (i.e. h_active_pixels, frame_rate, pixel_freq, aspect_ratio) but some I do not:
<h_sync_polarity> = invert hsync polarity
<h_front_porch> = horizontal forward padding from DE active edge
<h_sync_pulse> = hsync pulse width in pixel clocks
<h_back_porch> = vertical back padding from DE active edge
<v_active_lines> = vertical pixels height (lines)
<v_sync_polarity> = invert vsync polarity
<v_front_porch> = vertical forward padding from DE active edge
<v_sync_pulse> = vsync pulse width in pixel clocks
<v_back_porch> = vertical back padding from DE active edge
Could you help me with those? Or just provide data sheet on the panel.
Thank you!
Note that values taken from EDID info (which is available when fkms is used) do not work:
