5in Touch Screen Extended Interface

Label 5 is called extended interface, does that me I could solder to that extended interface to use any of the GPIO pins not used by the monitor? For example I need pins 3, 5, and 17 that are covered by this display to connect an ADC for a potentiometer.

Yes, the pin marked "NC" can be soldered as an extended interface.
