If you're planning a trip to the UAE, it's really important to keep track of your travel balance—especially when using Dubai’s public transport. The NOL card is very convenient for the metro, buses, and even some taxis, but a low balance at the wrong time can be frustrating.
From my experience, it’s always better to check your balance before leaving, especially during peak hours when queues at machines are long. Official RTA methods work fine, but sometimes they take extra steps.
I usually check it online before travelling because it’s quicker. There are some simple tools available—for example, you can search “nol card check” or use sites like nol-cardcheck.com to see your balance quickly.
It’s a small thing, but it really makes travelling around Dubai much smoother 👍

Dear Community Members,

I am currently working on indoor positioning using UWB modules. I have installed two anchors at both ends of a 50-meter distance, and with a single tag, the system works as expected and data can be received properly.

However, when I added a second tag with a unique ID, I noticed an issue: if the two tags are some distance apart, data from both tags can be received correctly. But when the two tags get close to each other, data reception stops. The closer they are, the more consistently the issue appears.

I tried using the provided software to input AT commands in order to configure advanced settings beyond just anchor/tag roles and ID assignment. Unfortunately, the additional AT commands listed in the documentation do not seem to have any effect.

If there is an updated or alternative firmware available, I would like to know:

How can I download and flash the firmware to the modules?

Or, is there another way to resolve this issue? (Each tag has already been assigned a unique ID, so ID conflict is not the cause.)

Any help or guidance from the community would be sincerely appreciated to resolve this issue.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Hello Elecrow Community,

I’ve been diving into some creative ways to organize online communities and was inspired by how platforms like this forum allow users to easily navigate and engage in specialized discussions. However, I’ve been facing a bit of a challenge when it comes to managing WhatsApp groups, as WhatsApp lacks the structure of threads and categories like we have here.

I’m working on a project where I’m creating a website to help people discover and join WhatsApp groups based on their interests, such as tech, DIY electronics, gaming, and other topics. I’m trying to bring some of that organizational ease that we experience on forums like Elecrow to WhatsApp.

Here’s the website: https://whatsgrouplinkspk.com/.
It’s designed to help people easily find and join relevant WhatsApp groups, just like how we can find specific discussions here on the forum.

I’d love to hear from anyone here who has experience managing or organizing WhatsApp communities. Any suggestions on how to structure them in a more user-friendly way would be really helpful!

Looking forward to your insights! 😊

Hi respected community members.
I am writing on this post with reference to a product I purchased from crowtail ie. DWM1000 UWB for indoor positioning. So let me quickly explain my issue. I am facing trouble in connecting 2 Tags with 4 anchors. So in my room I have fixed the 4UWBs at each corner. When I am using only 1 tag with the 4 anchors I am able to get the reading from each anchors using the SSCOM software as given in the products wiki. BUT!!! If I integrate one more tag in the same environment my previous tag gets disconnected or just stops reading distances from the anchors. And yes I am using seperate laptops running SSCOM software but it doesn't help.
I need to integrate 2 tags with 4 anchors anyone please guide me. I bought 7 UWBs I wanna make sure it works.
I will be glad if I can receive some help from you all.
Thanks
